One of you, our lovely neighbors/readers had the BRILLANT idea to feature local pets in need of adoption. Being big animal lovers we obviously thought this was one of the best ideas ever, so welcome to our new featured segment, Up For Adoption!
Please meet this month's featured pet, Jade!
Jade is a pit bull mix and is approximately 2 years old. She loves her toys and taking a dip in the pool. Still full of youthful energy, she is very playful and treat motivated. She has been in the shelter since January and has been using her time wisely by learning commands and manners.
With her solid build and exuberant play style, it is recommended she go to an adult household, or a household with older children and it would be best if she was an only pet. But in return, she is ready to give you lots of pittie love!

Our local shelter is full of beautiful pets right now looking for their furever. If you have been thinking of adding to the family, we do hope you will consider these sweet souls. And in the immortal words of Bob Barker, don't forget to get your pets spayed and neutered!
