Up For Adoption!

Looking to add to your family this holiday season? We hope you will consider the many pets in need of a home at our local Animal Care Center.

The center is FULL, and we couldn’t possibly choose just one pet to feature. They have everything from guinea pigs to dogs, and everything in between- and we do mean everything!

How beautiful is Miss Sunday? She and 4 other guinea pigs are looking for homes!

Want a turtle?

They’ve got one. This poor dear doesn't even have a name and is ready to answer to whatever you want to call them! There's not much information on him, but as someone who grew up in North Carolina catching turtles and reading up on the different kinds, he looks to be a slider of sorts.

Bunnies? Yep.

The care center currently has 2 bunnies looking for their Christmas miracles. Bandit and Binks are sure to bring joy to whoever adopts them! I mean, we know you have fallen down the TikTok bunny rabbit hole before (pun intended). You know you need that adorableness in your life!

Cats? You know it!

The cat house is FULL. Want a tabby? Jack, Jill, and Tom all fit the bill. A black kitty? Lucy is under evaluation, but spicy lil Habanero is ready to go! If greyscale is more your vibe you'll find Arthur, Padme, Octave, and Luna quite pleasing. And sweet Carrie, with her white coat and splotches of color down her back, has called the center home since June and would just love someone to play dreidel with!

Potbelly pig?

Petunia needs a home! Technically she is still on the waitlist hoping her owner comes for her. But it is important to know that pigs occasionally come through the center doors, and they deserve a second chance just like any other pet!

Heck, they even have a rooster!

Who wouldn't want this handsome gent waking them up first thing in the morning?!

And as always, the shelter has many, many dogs looking for their forevers. Big or small, the center has them all. It is truly heartbreaking to see this many dogs in need. Your next best friend is waiting for you.

The Agoura Animal Care Center is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 5 pm. They are closed Sundays and on Holidays.
